Bach’s Birthday Bash--Berkshire Bach Society’s annual commemoration of the birth of J.S. Bach on March 21, 1685--celebrates the role Bach played in developing performers and composers for the next generation. By design, the fête combines a recital by young musicians from elite music schools—this year, The Juilliard School and Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Conservatory--with a buffet dinner of German gourmet specialties (prepared by Chef Annie Wayte) and post-dinner musical games. Performers: Violinist Natalie Rose Kress | Harpsichordist Elena Zamolodchikova. Program: Telemann’s Fantasia for Solo Violin in D Major, Bach’s French Suite No. 5 in G Major, & Vivaldi’s Sonata for Violin in D Major. $85 per person. Reserve by March 18.
