200 vendors from around the world show and sell minerals, fossils, gems, jewelry, meteorites, beads, crystals, home decor, gifts, and supplies for lapidary, jewelry-making and metaphysical uses. Many of the vendors have mined the specimens that they sell, or personally created their jewelry and decorator pieces. Free mineral specimens for children, free mineral identification, lectures on related topics, gem panning (fee) and geode-cracking add to the family fun. The special exhibit is Minerales Mexicanos - The Peter Megaw Collection, featuring 52 display cases fine-quality specimens.
