HOLYOKE- Providence Place at Ingleside is hosting a festive “Celebrate Fall” Open House on Sat., Sept. 29, from 2-4 p.m. While there, visiting seniors, along with families and friends, are invited to tour the independent living retirement community. Hosts for the occasion are marketing director Laurie Hoey with assistance from the residents of the retirement community.
Visitors will tour Providence Place’s model apartment and magnificent chapel—where Mass is offered daily—as well as its welcoming piano lounge just outside the formal dining room that offers residents an exceptional restaurant-style dining experience.
Other tour features include the library and computer room, an exercise room, and the coffee shop with its varied menu of continental breakfast items. Full, hot breakfasts with popular breakfast choices like pancakes, omelets and/or waffles are scheduled there regularly. Coffee, tea, and juices are available all day and a special dessert available mid-day.
Visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the residents’ program and activities calendar, too. The calendar’s eclectic listing of free programs and activities range from exercise, Tai-Chi, and yoga classes, to painting classes, poetry and meditation groups, and in person performances from guest entertainers. There is always something happening for residents to enjoy!
There are two beautiful cloister gardens, and a stroll of the grounds, particularly one by the in-ground pool and bathhouse at the rear of the property, is recommended.
Reservations are not necessary and refreshments will be served.
Providence Place offers 119 rental apartments. There are no buy-in fees. For additional information contact Laurie Hoey at (413) 534-9700.
